‘Private label: trends, business opportunities and success stories’, a key topic of the 2017 World Bulk Wine Exhibition

World Bulk Wine Exhibition 2017 will take place in Amsterdam’s RAI Exhibition Center on November 20/21 as the most important wine fair worldwide for this sector in terms of business transactions focusing 85 per cent of the global supply for bulk wine. WBWE is a business forum for international wine purchasers and suppliers on “neutral ground” in Amsterdam every year in the month of November. A unique place to share the great quality and variety of bulk wine with leading international importers.

At the 9th WBWE, “Private label” will play a prominent role, because several companies devoted to this service will be taking part. Workshops and talks focused on learning about this business segment will also be carried out.

Under the heading "Let´s talk about Private Label – basics, trends and success stories", the expert Cruz Liljegren will reveal some key aspects to succeed, thanks to the experience he gained over his extended professional career within the sector.

Cruz Liljegren, Sweden, has a background as wine buyer, with his final position as Head Sommelier for a five star hotel in South east Asia. 

Today he is the entrepreneur behind Premium Wine Broker and partner in the Spanish tech company Winetastic, who has popularised the new wine segment of Private Label for B2C. Educations such as B.A in Hospitality Science and MSc in wine business from the Burgundy School of Business, Dijon. In 2016 he became the first member of The American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE) under the age of 30. 


World Bulk Wine Exhibition

The World Bulk Wine Exhibition is aimed at bulk wine producers and purchasers, wineries, distilleries, importers, distributors, retailers, international supply chains, business people, specialized media, etc.

The ninth WBWE will be held on the 20th and 21st of November at the Amsterdam’s RAI, the place where, for the last eight years, the main producers and wine buyers worldwide have gathered for two days of intense commercial trade.
