“When the whole is better than the sum of its parts” Ed Adams MW
The Art of Blending Wine presents the program of its second edition. It is an intensive workshop over two days in which some of the most prominent experts in the art of blending worldwide will play a key role. 16 speakers from 10 different nationalities, among them professors, consultants, oenologists, masters of wine, purchasers and communicators, form an irresistible panel for any professional who would like to learn more about and keep up with the new trends in the world of wine.
Among these keynote speakers, we’ll find renowned international experts such as Jamie Goode, who will talk about everything that might go wrong when elaborating a coupage and how to avoid it; Sergio Correa, who will reveal his expertise on Chilean wines and their potential to make blends; Gernot Limbach, who will discuss how to obtain quality sparkling wines; Deborah Parker Wong who will talk about the wines demanded by the US market; and Cristina Pandolfi about the potentials of Argentinean wines for blending, in addition to a long list of talks and presentations that are already available for consultation at www.blendingwine.com
After the successful first edition of this unique event, on the coming 26th and 27th of November and within the framework of one of the largest international wine fairs: the World Bulk Wine Exhibition, The Art of Blending Wine comes back to Amsterdam with the aim of disclosing how to make a finished wine that improves the source wines and how to adapt it to the diverse markets in a global world.
Aimed at oenologists, buyers, bottlers and sales representatives, this essential practical seminar —full of workshops, tasting sessions and master classes— is indispensable.
