The World Bulk Wine Exhibition opens the door to distilling companies and distilleries

This year, the biggest international event for the commercialization of large volumes of wine will host two additional distilling companies: Alvisa from Spain and Distillerie De La Tour from France, which will present their spirits on the coming 25th and 26th of November at Amsterdam’s RAI.

Alvisa visited the World Bulk Wine Exhibition ever since its first edition in the capacity of a visitor’s delegation. This year, coinciding with the acquisition of a winery (previously Altizia, now Alvisa Wines) and the 5th edition of the event, for the first time, Alvisa will be an exhibitor which will enable it to commercialize its wines and spirits.

Denis Bublikov, the company’s CEO, commented: “Alvisa is one of the few factories specialized in ageing wine alcohols exclusively dedicated to the bulk sale. That is the reason why we believe that this exhibition perfectly fits our profile and we hope to have a lot of business opportunities. According to the last Nielsen data, brandy consumption in the world will increase by 30% in the next five years.  We think that being the first to be able to offer both wine and spirits at the exhibition will give us the opportunity to be ranked among the largest bulk brandy operators worldwide”.

The companies that will attend the World Bulk Wine Exhibition will have the opportunity to present their products to more than 2000 buyers from more than 60 different countries. Alvisa executives see this as a golden opportunity: “Our aim is to present both 2013 new wines, spirits and aged brandies to all our clients and collaborators over two days while meeting new agents and future potential customers, and above all, bottlers from new brandy consumer countries.”

WORLD BULK WINE EXHIBITION

The World Bulk Wine Exhibition offers an exclusive place to show and discover the best bulk wines worldwide, just after the end of the grape harvest.

During the past edition, the World Bulk Wine Exhibition brought together 130 producer companies from 11 different countries and, during only two days, they had the possibility of presenting their products to more than a thousand buyers and 4000 visitors who came from more than 40 different countries. In short: an acquisition capacity of nearly 20 million hectoliters.

The 5th edition of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition will be held on the coming 25th and 26th of November at the Amsterdam RAI.
