WOSA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to contribute to the large-scale success of the wine sector in this area by creating the brand “South Africa”, and also to widen the respect for this country as a producer of exciting wines with a superb quality-price ratio. WOSA main objectives are:
To improve the image and reputation of South African wines on key international markets.
To help develop new export markets.
To improve exporting capacity by supporting commercialization and providing counseling.
To develop South African wine tourism.
“Variety is in our nature” is one of the WOSA slogans. South Africa possesses some of the oldest winelands in the world. In terms of biodiversity, this is an exceptional natural environment, which results from the constant interaction between these old winelands, high mountains, slopes and coastal breezes.
