Premio Voice Of Wine 2012
The World Bulk Wine Exhibition rewards European wine companies: The organisers of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition announced, by unanimous decision, the European Wine Committee (CEEV) as the winner of the “Voice of Wine 2012” award, which was presented at the fourth edition of the Exhibition in Amsterdam which took place on 19 and 20 November 2012.
The jury considered the CEEV, based in Brussels, to be the deserving winners of the award because of their “passionate defence of the wine sector before the highest European authorities and powerful anti-alcohol lobbyists, and for always conveying a positive message of moderation about the social, cultural, economic, and health benefits of wine”.
With this award, the WBWE seeks to recognise the tremendous work being undertaken by European wine industry organisations in international forums, and for transmitting the message about the benefits of moderate wine consumption.
Both the president of the CEEV, Lamberto Vallarino Gancia, and its general secretary, José Ramón Fernández, expressed their satisfaction with this recognition which comes at a key moment for them, and said it was an honour to be taking over the award from such an important organisation in the wine world as the OIV.
